What GHK-Cu is

GHK is a naturally occurring tripeptide with high affinity for copper(II). The bound complex, GHK-Cu, is the form used in most published in-vitro work on extracellular matrix signalling, fibroblast behaviour and copper transport.

Supplied as a laboratory reference material only, not for human or veterinary use and not a cosmetic product.

Purity and copper coordination

Every lot is released against an HPLC purity chromatogram and mass-spectrometry identity confirmation, and the certificate of analysis for the exact lot you receive is emailed on request.

Copper complexes are assessed for both peptide purity and correct coordination; incomplete complexation is visible as a loss of the characteristic blue colouration in solution.

Handling and storage

Keep sealed vials at -20°C away from light. Reconstitute with sterile bacteriostatic water added slowly to the vial wall and swirl gently; the resulting solution should be clear and blue, without particulates.

Refrigerate the working solution at 2–8°C, protect from light, and aliquot into single-use volumes labelled with lot number and preparation date.
