Product description

GHK-Cu is the copper-complexed tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, supplied as 50 mg of 99% pure lyophilised powder with a characteristic affinity for copper(II) ions. It is one of the most published peptides in dermal research, with literature covering collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory gene expression, wound-model contraction rates and broad transcriptomic effects reported across thousands of human genes.

Research context

Used in fibroblast culture, dermal equivalent models and gene-expression studies of matrix metalloproteinase balance and copper-dependent enzyme activity.

Handling & disclaimer

All products supplied by Pepper Labs are sold strictly as laboratory reference materials for in-vitro research and analytical use only. They are not medicines, not food, not cosmetics and not for human or veterinary consumption. Nothing on this website is medical advice, and no therapeutic claim is made or implied. Pepper Labs does not publish dosing schedules, administration guidance or protocols of any kind. Storage

Store the sealed vial at 2-8 C protected from light. Copper complexes are light-sensitive; keep reconstituted solution in amber or shielded containers and use within 28 days.

Reconstitution notes

Add 2-3 mL of bacteriostatic water slowly down the vial wall. The solution will take on a blue tint, which is expected for the copper complex.

Documentation

A certificate of analysis for the current lot is available on request. Message us on WhatsApp with the product name and we will send the analytical package.
