Product description

Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide composed of glutamic acid, aspartic acid and arginine (Glu-Asp-Arg), commonly identified by the sequence EDR. It has attracted scientific interest for its potential involvement in neuronal signalling, cellular protection and age-associated biological processes. Preclinical research has examined Pinealon in experimental models involving oxidative stress, neuronal cell survival and cellular stress responses. Investigations have also explored its interactions with gene expression and pathways associated with neuronal function. Pepper Labs supplies Pinealon as a 10 mg lyophilised research peptide intended for laboratory and analytical applications. For research use only. Not intended for human or veterinary administration.

Research context

Pinealon (EDR) has been investigated in preclinical studies examining neuronal cell protection, oxidative stress responses and age-related cellular signalling. Research has explored its potential influence on gene expression, cellular survival and mechanisms associated with neuronal ageing. Available evidence remains predominantly experimental, and therapeutic efficacy in humans has not been established.

Handling & disclaimer

All products supplied by Pepper Labs are sold strictly as laboratory reference materials for in-vitro research and analytical use only. They are not medicines, not food, not cosmetics and not for human or veterinary consumption. Nothing on this website is medical advice, and no therapeutic claim is made or implied. Pepper Labs does not publish dosing schedules, administration guidance or protocols of any kind. Researchers are responsible for compliance with all applicable Australian laws and institutional requirements.

Storage

Store the sealed lyophilised vial refrigerated at 2–8°C where supported by manufacturer stability data, protected from light and moisture. Once reconstituted, maintain under validated formulation-specific storage conditions. Avoid repeated temperature fluctuations and discard solutions showing discolouration or visible particulate.

Reconstitution notes

For laboratory preparation, introduce a validated compatible diluent slowly down the inner wall of the vial. Swirl gently until dissolved. Do not shake vigorously. A 10 mg vial prepared to a final volume of 1 mL yields a concentration of 10 mg/mL; a final volume of 2 mL yields 5 mg/mL. Confirm diluent compatibility and solution stability before preparation.

Documentation

A certificate of analysis for the current lot is available on request. Message us on WhatsApp with the product name and we will send the analytical package.
