Product description
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a central redox cofactor present in every living cell and one of the most frequently referenced substrates in metabolic and enzymology research. Pepper Labs supplies 500 mg of lyophilised NAD+ per sealed vial at not less than 99% purity. NAD+ is notably more sensitive to moisture, heat and alkaline pH than the peptides in our catalogue, so vials are stoppered under inert gas and shipped with cold-chain packaging. Prepare solutions immediately before use where the assay permits.

Storage
Store sealed at -20°C, tightly closed and protected from moisture and light. NAD+ solutions are considerably less stable than peptide solutions - prepare fresh where possible, hold at 2-8°C for no more than 5-7 days, and avoid alkaline diluents.
Reconstitution notes
Add 5 mL bacteriostatic or sterile water slowly to the vial wall for a nominal 100 mg/mL stock. Dissolve with gentle rotation and use promptly.
