Product description
The 1000 mg presentation of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is intended for laboratories running extended or repeat assay programmes where the 500 mg vial is consumed too quickly. Specification is identical to the 500 mg vial - not less than 99% purity, lyophilised, sealed under inert gas with a lot-matched analytical package. Given the mass per vial, prepare a concentrated stock and aliquot immediately rather than holding the full volume in solution.
Research context
Used in the literature as a cofactor substrate across sirtuin and PARP enzymology, redox-state quantification and mitochondrial metabolism assays. Analytical reference material only.

Storage
Store sealed at -20°C, protected from moisture and light. Aliquot promptly after reconstitution and freeze at -20°C; avoid alkaline buffers and repeated freeze-thaw.
Reconstitution notes
Add 10 mL bacteriostatic or sterile water slowly for a nominal 100 mg/mL stock, then aliquot into single-use volumes.
