Product description
MOTS-C is a 16-amino-acid mitochondrial-derived peptide encoded within the mitochondrial 12S rRNA gene, supplied as 10 mg of 99% pure lyophilised powder. It is a leading research compound in the mitokine field, with published work on AMPK activation, folate-methionine cycle interaction, glucose uptake in skeletal muscle models, insulin sensitivity and exercise-mimetic metabolic responses. It is also a frequent reference peptide in longevity and mitochondrial-communication research.
Research context
