Product description
IGF-1 LR3 (Long Arg3 Insulin-like Growth Factor 1) is a synthetic analogue of IGF-1 containing structural modifications designed to reduce its affinity for certain IGF-binding proteins. It has attracted scientific interest for its involvement in cellular proliferation, differentiation, protein synthesis and growth-factor receptor signalling. Preclinical investigations have examined IGF-1-related activity through the PI3K/Akt and MAPK signalling pathways, with particular attention to cellular growth, survival and metabolic regulation. Storage
Store the sealed lyophilised vial refrigerated at 2–8°C where supported by the manufacturer’s stability data, protected from light and moisture. Once reconstituted, maintain the solution under validated formulation-specific storage conditions. The usable storage period depends on the diluent, concentration and available stability data.
Reconstitution notes
For laboratory preparation, add a validated compatible diluent slowly down the inner wall of the vial, without directing the stream onto the lyophilised cake. Swirl gently until fully dissolved. Do not shake or vortex aggressively. Preparing a 1 mg vial to a final volume of 1 mL yields a nominal 1 mg/mL stock solution. Confirm solvent compatibility and stability before preparation.
