Product description

Cartalax is a synthetic tripeptide composed of alanine, glutamic acid and aspartic acid (Ala-Glu-Asp), commonly identified by the sequence AED. It belongs to the Khavinson family of short-chain peptide bioregulators and has attracted scientific interest for its potential involvement in cellular signalling, tissue maintenance and age-associated biological processes. Preclinical investigations have examined AED in experimental models involving cellular proliferation, gene expression and age-related changes in tissue function. Cartilage biology and chondrogenic differentiation remain areas of research interest, although direct evidence of cartilage regeneration is limited. Pepper Labs supplies Cartalax as a 20 mg lyophilised research peptide intended for laboratory and analytical applications. For research use only. Not intended for human or veterinary administration.

Research context

Cartalax (AED) has been investigated in preclinical research examining cellular proliferation, gene expression and age-associated tissue responses. Studies involving peptide bioregulators have explored mechanisms associated with extracellular matrix regulation and cellular differentiation, including chondrogenic pathways. Evidence for Cartalax-specific cartilage regeneration remains limited, and therapeutic efficacy in humans has not been established.

Handling & disclaimer

All products supplied by Pepper Labs are sold strictly as laboratory reference materials for in-vitro research and analytical use only. They are not medicines, not food, not cosmetics and not for human or veterinary consumption. Nothing on this website is medical advice, and no therapeutic claim is made or implied. Pepper Labs does not publish dosing schedules, administration guidance or protocols of any kind. Storage

Store the sealed lyophilised vial in a cool, dry environment, protected from light and moisture, following manufacturer-specific stability guidance. Refrigeration at 2–8°C may be appropriate where supported by product documentation. Once reconstituted, maintain under validated storage conditions and avoid unnecessary temperature fluctuations.

Reconstitution notes

For laboratory preparation, introduce a validated compatible diluent slowly down the inner wall of the vial. Swirl gently until dissolved. Do not shake vigorously. A 20 mg vial prepared to a final volume of 1 mL yields 20 mg/mL; a final volume of 2 mL yields 10 mg/mL. Confirm diluent compatibility and solution stability before preparation.

Documentation

A certificate of analysis for the current lot is available on request. Message us on WhatsApp with the product name and we will send the analytical package.
