Product description

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic peptide consisting of 15 amino acids, derived from a sequence associated with a gastric protein. BPC-157 has attracted scientific interest for its potential involvement in tissue repair, angiogenesis, inflammatory signalling and gastrointestinal protection. Preclinical investigations have examined its effects on tendon, ligament, muscle and gastrointestinal tissues, with particular attention to cellular signalling pathways associated with tissue recovery. Research has explored potential interactions with nitric oxide signalling, vascular regulation and pathways involved in cellular migration and tissue remodelling. Pepper Labs supplies BPC-157 as a 10 mg lyophilised powder intended for laboratory research and analytical applications. BPC-157 remains an investigational compound. Human clinical evidence is limited, and its safety and efficacy for therapeutic use have not been established. For laboratory research purposes only. Not intended for human or veterinary administration.

Research context

Published preclinical literature has investigated BPC-157 in experimental models of tissue injury, gastrointestinal inflammation, tendon repair and vascular signalling. Research areas include: • Angiogenesis and vascular endothelial signalling. • Fibroblast migration and cellular repair mechanisms. • Tendon and ligament tissue recovery in animal models. • Gastrointestinal mucosal protection. • Nitric oxide signalling and vascular regulation. • Inflammatory responses and tissue remodelling. Much of the available evidence originates from animal and laboratory studies. Findings have not been adequately validated through large, controlled human clinical trials. BPC-157 is not an established treatment for injuries, inflammation or gastrointestinal conditions. Research use only. No human dosing or therapeutic claims are implied.

Handling & disclaimer

All products supplied by Pepper Labs are sold strictly as laboratory reference materials for in-vitro research and analytical use only. Storage

Store the sealed lyophilised vial refrigerated at 2–8°C where supported by the manufacturer's stability data, protected from light and moisture. Once reconstituted, keep refrigerated at 2–8°C. The usable storage period depends on the diluent, sterility and validated stability data; do not assume a 14–21 day shelf life without supporting evidence.

Reconstitution notes

Add 1mL of bacteriostatic water slowly down the inner wall of the vial, without directing the stream onto the lyophilised cake. Swirl gently until fully dissolved. Do not shake or vortex aggressively. This yields a nominal 10 mg/mL stock solution.
